Indigenous Business Month

About the project

Each year the IM team develops the Indigenous Business Theme logo and design framework for that year’s theme. As a co-founder, IM is proud to be part of this initiative for over 10 years.

The challenge

Each year the founding organisations - Dilun Duwa Centre, 33 Creative, and IM work together to create a focus theme for Indigenous Business Month. Since 2023, the IM team have focused on the development of the design for the theme.

The solution

Once the theme is decided by the founders, and the initial draft of the framing essay is created, IM get to work in creating the design. The team holds a design meeting to discuss key concepts, clarify anything that may be missing or misunderstood. 3 designs are created as options and presented to the founders and the organisers. Once selected, the collateral elements (slide-deck, email signatures) are created.

The results

The resulting designs have been of a high quality and are engaging to the community, reflecting the values of the Indigenous Business Month vision.
